“It’s never too late to be who you might have been.” — George Eliot
Isn’t it time to get unblocked and start moving forward? To gain wisdom, take positive action, and finally step into the life you were meant to live? I’m here to show you how.
I am deeply passionate about personal growth, transformation, and self-empowerment. My work is dedicated to helping you get unstuck so you can unleash your full potential—now. We are meant to thrive, not merely survive… even in the desert.
As the saying goes, “The day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” It truly is never too late to become who you might have been.
One of the guiding principles I live and work by is this:
Watch your thoughts, because they become words.
Watch your words, because they become actions.
Watch your actions, because they become habits.
Watch your habits, because they become character.
And watch your character—because it becomes your destiny. You might wonder how someone with a background in retail sales management and seven years in the electronics industry transitioned into the helping profession. For me, it was a calling—one that arrived unmistakably when the semiconductor industry collapsed and I was laid off. That moment became a powerful turning point, forcing me to ask myself what I truly wanted to do with my life.
Although the transition wasn’t easy, I followed that inner calling. I returned to school, earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hofstra University, and supported myself while rebuilding my future. Every sacrifice was an investment in becoming the person I was meant to be.
During this time, I became deeply involved in women’s empowerment, volunteering with the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Working at the safe home for women and children—and later on the crisis hotline—was profoundly meaningful and reinforced my desire to make a real difference.
I also volunteered at the Discovery Enrichment Center in Port Washington, where I was trained as a Team Leader helping children develop confidence, self-esteem, leadership, and social skills. These experiences solidified my path.
I went on to earn my Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University, concentrating in Mental Health and Chemical Dependency. After graduation, I worked in outpatient substance abuse treatment and later spent seven years at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry in Brooklyn, working on the front lines with individuals facing severe and persistent mental illness and addiction.
At Brookdale, I led an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, bringing services directly into the community. Afterward, I became Executive Director of a leading outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center on Long Island. Today, I maintain a private practice in Suffolk County.
In my work, I use a wide range of therapeutic approaches—what I like to call “tools in my toolbox.” I believe in a simple philosophy: whatever works to help you get unstuck and move forward. Too often, people grow comfortable with discomfort and remain in situations that limit their growth. You deserve more than that.
After earning my MSW, I continued searching for powerful methods to help people overcome limiting beliefs. I became certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy because I knew—personally—that it works. Years earlier, hypnosis helped me quit smoking, and on February 16, 2009, I celebrated my 21st anniversary as a non-smoker.
I also became certified in EMDR for trauma treatment and trained in Reiki and Magnified Healing, incorporating energy-based approaches to support deep healing and balance.
My ultimate goal is to help you unleash your full potential—now. True transformation happens when you are aligned physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The tools I use are designed to help you reconnect with your inner strength and higher purpose.
And remember…
